I clearly remember trying to decide whether or not I should answer the unknown number calling me, since I was busy relaxing in my hammock on that beautiful day in January (and honestly, random phone calls scare me a little).
I took a leap of faith, and I’m so happy I did! I got to join a call with some amazing people who gave me the most exciting news ever – I was going to be a Footprints member! It’s a phone call I’ll never forget.
I can’t wait for these next three years!!
Leah is part of Footprints Class of Spring 2021. She is a sophomore studying psychology with a concentration in cognitive and behavioral neuroscience on the premed track.
